The Longevity Society

You can buy a biological-age number. That number will not stand you up from the floor.

Longevity is not a war on looking older. It is the quieter work of staying able to do an ordinary day: get off the floor, carry the groceries, walk without making a project out of it, and keep a clear head while you do those things. Healthspan is the name for the years you can still do that. The goal is not simply to live more years. The goal is to be capable and independent for those years.

I will send the Four Visible Habits Card for free.

The card covers one week. You mark a box only after the habit happened. A blank box is not a failure. It is information, and that information is going to help guide how you move forward.

That email did not go through. Check the address and try once more.

The four habits on the card

  1. Strength work you could do again next week, not a session so hard that you have to invent a new plan on Thursday.
  2. A walk at a pace where you can still talk. If the walk changes the way you move and that change stays, write it down and take it to a clinician instead of counting it as training.
  3. Staying awake during the day. If you cannot keep your eyes open at three in the afternoon, the card should show that, because sleep at night is part of the same picture.
  4. Ten minutes outside. The point is daylight and air, not a hiking program you will drop when the weather turns.

A burst of effort in one loud week does not buy you a decade. Habits you can repeat for years do. This page is not a supplement stack and it is not a quick-fix.
